Spotlight of the Week- Jasmine

Good Evening beautiful readers,

This week I will be featuring the lovely, talented and beautiful Jasmine! I can’t wait for you all to get to know her a little better! She is quite amazing & I am lucky enough to call her my sister!  ♥unnamed

Jasmine’s creative talent is that she has the gift of empathy and leadership through servitude.   She fulfill’s this by working as a Therapist/Clinical Director at a Behavioral Health Agency in Arizona. She spends her time helping individuals who are going through tough times in their life and she helps them recover from these events. This industry is extremely hard mentally and physically but Jasmine shows how strong she is everyday! She is a great role model and I have always looked up to her ever since I was little girl. Jasmine also stated she has many other creative talent’s including singing, salsa dancing and reading.  I would agree with these other talents as well; since I grew up listening to her sing and dance and the sista can get down! 🙂 Jasmine has always had a huge heart and she always puts other’s before her self. She is constantly taking care of others and her story deserves to be shared and talked about.

When I asked Jasmine what her best accomplishments were she stated having her children Jordan & Jocelyn are definitely #1.  She also replied with “God truly blessed me with two of the brightest, funniest, and kind hearted kids around; I may be biased but I am lucky.” Jasmine also stated her marriage of 15 years to her husband Jason is another great accomplishment in her life; “It has not been an easy ride but we have always worked hard at keeping our union sacred and respecting the committments we made many years ago.”  Professionally Jasmine’s accomplishments are how far she has come and honored to have helped plenty of families & individuals along the way. She is a Director now so she is able to oversee all the Clinical Decisions and mentor/ supervise most of the clinicians. Jasmine is a major #BOSSBABE  & #GIRLBOSS, there are no limits for this woman! Jasmine’s last favorite accomplishment was that when she was 20 years old she moved to Spain all by herself and she is forever thankful for the culture she was introduced to and the experiences she will never forget.
Even though she is Super Woman she did have fear’s before she started chasing her professional goals. She stated she was afraid that she would be ineffective and let many people & families down. She eventually realized that at the end of the day she is a guide to help people through their darkest hours but she knows that it is God fueling their journey; and this has given her confidence to guide them along their way. Jasmine’s current goals in life are very much focused on nurturing her children since she has achieved most of her professional goals. For example she has had her own private practice & is currently the Director of a company.  In the future when her children are in high school she would LOVE to go back to school and get her Ph. D in Marriage and Family Therapy or another related field.

Something you may not know about Jasmine is that she is very passionate about reading and would love to start a book club! If anyone would like to support her reading addiction please contact her! ♥ She is also very passionate about politics and the future of our country.  She stated “I would like to become involved in government office on a small local scale in the future.  She is very passionate about Women’s Rights and the future of our children.” Creatively Linked says you can do anything you want to and I am positive Jasmine will succeed in all her future endeavors and I can’t wait to be a witness of her greatness!

Jasmine’s favorite quote is:

“Just when the caterpillar thought the world was ending, he turned into a butterfly.”
 – Proverb

Jasmine’s mission statement is :
Carpe Diem

When I asked Jasmine if she could go back in time and speak to her younger self  what would she say? She replied with “you are okay just the way you are!”

If Jasmine’s favorite playlist on spotify/apple music was heard by a stranger they would describe her as a salsa LOVER & old school country lover sprinkled with 80’s hits!

Lastly when I asked Jasmine if she had any last words for her interview she replied “I wouldn’t change a thing. It is possible to find balance in your personal & professional career. Society says if you succeed in one area you struggle in another.  I would be lying if I told you it wasn’t hard and that there are times the juggling act is overwhelming; but I am here to tell all women, all mother’s and all future mother’s that it is possible to do both and kick ass while your doing it 😉 !!
